I had a complicated issue with PayPal and the support team Roger, Bruno was very polite and helpful. On top of that they even took my feedback on the matter seriously and opened it up for discussion with a wider audience.
I am mightily impressed. I wanted to try out Yousician, so I subscribed for the yearly plan including a free trial period. After a few weeks of using Yousician, I realized that the teaching method was just not suitable for me and found myself constantly searching for teaching material elsewhere.
My free trial period had ended, so I unsubscribed my account and thought that that was that. I then realized that Yousician would keep on charging me for a full year for an app that I was not using and had deleted from my phone. I contacted the customer support, where I recieved extremely kind service from Jayvee, who unsubscribed my billing. Even though it was my fault for not realizing what I was subscribing to.
I would be happy to recommend Yousician to a friend, not for the app itself, but for the customer service. This app is an absolute SCAM! Beware of it. After the free trial period it automatically charges you for a full year!
So even if you cancel after a couple of weeks, it will continue to deduct the money monthly from your account until the end of the subscription year. Misleading advertising, bad practice, dishonest company. Really easy to follow lesson for chord and strumming. Great app for playing along tunes of any kind of music. Get to learn in depth complicated chords.
A bit of the downside there aren't any ACDC tracks to play along that again is a personal choice and that at the end of the lesson session i get to play the same tracks over and over.
Received the solution to my problem in less than 12 hours with great kindness and warmth. Hats off! I had problem with my chord not being recognised by the software and very frustrated by the experience and pessimistic to call the support. Eventually I called and I am very glad I did as the support and follow up was beyond my expectations. Thank you Roger and Thank you Yousician. I love the app, it's fun, the songs are good but I have one complaint.
Sometimes it just does not pick up the right notes when they are right. This can get extremely frustrating and demotivating for someone who is learning. This is on Keyboard and Guitar. Sometimes it marks the note as wrong on the keyboard, even with midi input. I sent in a problem, slept, and got a reply the next morning!
People were very understanding and fixed it right away. No issues and yeah :. It's expensive and patronising. The app has serious lag issues and the developers wont do any thing about it. They only care about getting more people to pay and forget about the reaccuring payments. Great customer support from Yousician! I had an issue where I signed up of their mobile app with my Apple account sign-in with Apple , but had trouble signing in to the desktop app because sign-up with Apple is not implemented there yet. Sent a support case and got the issue resolved in a matter of minutes.
Great response time, the support agent was super kind and helpful, and most important, came up with a nice working solution that left me satisfied. Great positive surprise! After a recent update I had issues with my app; i. So I contacted Yousian's customer service and got a reply back within an hour that they'd look into the issue. A few days later I got another message that the issue would be fixed with the next update and when that one would be released; they also made sure to remind me on the day it went live.
Also, about the app in general I hadn't played the guitar in 20 years and even back then I never got far, despite guitar lessons. Last year I gave it a shot again and came across Yousician and figured I'd check out the app - and I am so glad I did. I've switched to the paid version pretty fast to also be able to learn some popular and not have time restrictions, but even if I hadn't, I enjoyed their structured learning schedule a great deal.
I am excited about the progress I'm making in my own time and it never feels like a chore. I can only recommend it to anyone who wants to pick up the guitar. Hey everyone. So helpful, kind and human! I mean the app itself is amazing too. But experiencing humans being kind to other humans in the capitalist world is refreshing and giving hope!

Apple gave me stock responses that they could never have helped even after I provided proof of the receipt emails from them that they asked me to provide. Srdjan from Yousician, however, was VERY professional and accommodating after listening and trying to understand the issue described. Yousician fixed Apple's blunder and did not use stock, canned, autogenerated responses. I seriously love Yousician and happy to know there are people there that take care of their customers and don't take us for granted.
Very satisfied with the customer service from Yousician After they charged my for a year subscription, which I didn't want, I canceled my subscription and asked for a refund, communication 5 stars, very helpful and they canceled my subscription and gave me my refund back. Thumbs up Yousician. The app itself is great, but the support is top notch.
There was an issue that required a software update, and they actually kept me in the loop the whole process. They even sent me an e-mail circling back to confirm the latest version of the app was available and fixed the problem. I am very happy with the technical support of Bruno and yousician in general, for the speed and professionalism in solving my problem.

I have had a very hard time learning to use Yousician because I don't have any experience with video games, and because Yousician kept crashing my computer.
